A History of YALDING, Kent, England

A detailed expenditure of the 1905 organ is as follows:-
Messrs. Conacher (as per contract)  £620  0s  0 d
Mr Hall for laying on Water etc (performed at cost price)  £19  0s  0d  
Messrs Vaughan for moving pulpit  £10  0s  0d  
Mr Latter for making New Drain etc  £19  17s  0d
Messrs Goulden & Wind, repair of American organ lent by Mrs Alexander  £3  15s  0d
Cost of Faculty  £3  0s  6d
Mr Woolett for preparing drawings etc, in connection with Faculty  £2  6s 0d
Printing, Advertising Sale of Old Organ and Postage  £3  15s  8d  
Total  £683  14s  2d
During 1980/1 the organ was completely stripped down and restored by Martin Cross, Organ Builders, for the sum of    £ 14,000. Re-dedication on the 15th March 1981 was by the Right Reverend Philip Goodrich, Bishop of Tonbridge.
