A History of YALDING, Kent, England

This is an early 20th century sale map showing items located around the family estate. The house is situated on the side of Yalding Down, with the ground sloping down a height of about 16 metres to the river.
Located near the house are croquet and tennis courts, a farm yard closer to the road. To the right of the house, which is east, is a kitchen garden and stables, with a walled garden at the far east end of the estate.
Directly below the main house by the river (Medway), is a boat house.
These are more recent views of the house from the south-east, and from the west showing the main front door.
There is now a new accomodation east wing recently added.
Below are views of cottages and stables of the estate of the past, long since removed.
